With love and great respect to this revered man,
Uncle Ken is a very, very important Elder who's country is in the Flinders Ranges. He is the last of the Adnyamathanha initiated men. He has been through proper ceremony as a Mudlapa (boy running with the initiated men). His bloodlines run throughout Australia.
He is the cultural authority of the Adnyamathanha and Kuyani people, our spirit man, songman, weather man, wisdom keeper of the stories, songs and dances. His stories gave the Adnyamathanha people their Native Title (see article ‘Singing the Law’ attached). His aboriginal name is Booka. (words are an excerpt from Aunty Mulara)
